Most of his acting projects are B films done in Florida, and while doing so he also focused on building his business endeavors. He deals in classic cars of all types, dating back to the 1920s up to the early 2000s. The films he’s worked on include “Scarecrows” in which he had a lead role, and the horror film “Angel of Dying”. He also tried his hand at music, and created his own group called Ted Vernon and the Bulldogs, then became the lead singer of the band The Chromatics and The Autotones. He has also appeared in music videos such as “Miami High Boy” and “My Blue Angel” by Aaron Tippin.

Personal Life

For her personal life, it is known that Robin married Ted in 2000, and they stayed together for 16 years. Prior to their marriage he was a divorcee, having three children from his first marriage which had ended in divorce. He is 30 years older than her – the two met on a blind date, and after marrying had a child together, but divorced in 2017.

According to her, she is a victim of domestic abuse, and that Ted is known for being abusive towards his family. He does his best to hide this fact, but all of the family members close to him have experienced his violence in one way or another. In 2017, Robin was hospitalized after she was found physically assaulted having sought refuge at a neighbor’s house. She claimed her former husband attacked her, but he was nowhere to be found. While he denied the allegations, numerous members of his family from his previous marriage have stepped forward to confirm the claims. A daughter of hers decided to run away from home as a teenager, move somewhere far away and change her name to get as far away from him as possible. Despite all of this, Robin has decided not to press charges against him.
