Having finished with that job in 2012, she was hired by NTC News Tonight as their meteorologist, and some of her responsibilities included building and preparing her forecasts on a daily basis, and assembling her segment on the evening weather.
During her time there, she worked under time constraints, developing a detailed forecast for the following five days. Having spent five months there, she joined WISN-TV, where she worked as an intern for Weather Watch 12, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her job required her to consult with the meteorologist staff and help them prepare the forecast for the next seven days. Working there, she worked with fine tuning her forecasting, while taking Lake Michigan influences into account. As she stated, her work at WISN-TV helped her gain prominent experience in time managing severe weather forecasting with cut-ins.
