Her debut on-camera reporting appearance features tracking powerful thunderstorms as well as extremely low temperatures for the ABC-affiliated KIFI-TV in Idaho.
Her next stop was Spokane, Washington, where she joined the crew of the KREM-TV for which she served not only as a forecaster, but anchor and reporter as well. After honing her professional skills for a while, Danielle relocated to Denver, Colorado, where she became a member of the 9NEWS.
During her early years in Colorado, Grant was engaged on several of the big stories, including covering the most destructive wildlife in the history of the state – the Black Forest Fire, as well as the catastrophic snow storms in the High Country, and the disastrous flooding in Colorado’s Front Range. All these engagements and endeavors earned her a nomination for the prestigious Emmy Award.
